Thanks, I just read it. 159 Million Euros is a lot of money for two players! Personally, I think Real Madrid is taking a huge risk because having great players is no guarantee for winning trophies. Still, their chances have increased in buying the best player in the world (CR7) and the third best player in the world (Kaka). I look forward to seeing Real Madrid dominate this next season.

Pele is a legend! I follow the current great players right now but I am not a die-hard fan like most Hispanics out there. I am sort of a “fair-weather” fan.
Click on Ronaldo, so you can see his moves from a Youtube video… I just don’t know how he does what he does (big question mark on my head).

And thanks so much for pointing that mistake out! I’m still living in the past, I wish it was 2008! I would be walking in the park with this cute girl if it was 2008.
I also try not to make grammar mistakes but it is hard to edit all the time. I usually rush when I write a blog, so i can go on with my day. I think I use too many darn commas, too… just wish I could write better.

I’ll admit that I’m not a huge soccer fan, but this transaction made sports headlines everywhere, so I *had* to read up about what was going on. When I was younger, I loved watching reruns of Brazil’s in famous Pele on classic sports networks, but this next generation of footballers (Beckham, Ronaldo, etc.) are completely new to me.

Oh, and you made a tiny mistake. Today is June 11, 2009 (as much as I wish it were still 2008).
